For those electronic keyboards with an
input jack labeled "SUSTAIN," the FC4 is used in the same manner the
sustain pedal on an acoustic piano is used. A specially designed
rubber bottom grips the floor and stays put while you play. The FC4
can also be utilized as an FS controller for synthesizers, tone
modules and drum machines. Works with any keyboard utilizing a
sustain pedal with a 1/4" connector. Included 6-foot cable 1/4"
phone plug.

UX16 Midi to USB interface The UX16
USB-MIDI Interface is the easiest way to connect your musical keyboard to
your computer. If your computer has a Universal Serial Bus (USB) jack, you
simply connect the UX16 to your USB connector on your computer and plug the
MIDI in and out cables into your keyboard. You will have to install a
"driver" so that your computer knows about the UX16 and the driver is
included with the interface on a CD-ROM. The length of the USB cable is 2
feet and the length of the MIDI cables is a little over 4 feet. All Yamaha
portable keyboards made in the last few years have MIDI jacks on the back
(5-pin din jacks).
