TheYAH803 Neo Tenor Horn is Yamahas top of the range new professional level horn. Designed specifically for brass band playing the Neo has been re-designed from top to toe and features a one piece, yellow brass bell and specially designed tuning slide and 1st branch tapers, for improved sound quality and pitch.
The Neo has caused quite a stir amongst the small tight knit tenor horn comunity. Great tuning and sound projection make this instrument likely to make it a popular choice – especially when combined with Yamahas ledgendary build quality and attention to detail.

The New YAH803 Tenor Horn sees a radical rethink of horn design with every facet of the instrument having been considered, revised and refined to perfection.
Developed with Sheona White, the new Tenor Horn provides new levels of power and projection combined with a warmth and depth that will send repercussions throughout the brass community, and bring horn players to their rightful place at the heart of the band.
Featuring a one-piece yellow brass bell, the 210mm bell diameter provides players with an increased dynamic range.
Changes to the taper of the tuning slide and with a wider diameter, the sound, pitch, dynamic range and overall playability of the instrument has improved.
The first branch has a newly designed taper which has improved the sound quality and pitch.
With a new heavy type valve casing, the added weight of the instrument provides a more powerful and enriched sound.
The instrument is also supplied with a hard case with shoulder strap. A Sheona White signature mouthpiece will also be available shortly.
